Dwoflex Marketplace respects the information you entrust to us. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you browse, register, buy, sell, join the affiliate programme or contact support at Dwoflex.com.
1. Who is responsible for your information
Dwoflex Marketplace is operated by Saunat Ltd, referred to as “Dwoflex”, “we” or “us”. Our principal business address is DT 2184, Adenta Flats. We are responsible for the personal data we use to operate the marketplace, subject to Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), and other applicable law.
Contact our privacy team through support@dwoflex.com, with “Privacy request” in the subject, or call +233 20 278 2533. Postal correspondence may be sent to P.O. Box DT 2184, Adenta Flats, Accra, Ghana.
Independent vendors receive information needed to fulfil their orders. They may have separate responsibilities for their own records. We require vendors to use customer information for authorised order-related purposes, not unrelated marketing.
2. Information we handle
| Information | Examples and source |
|---|---|
| Account and contact details | Name, email, phone number, phone country, account type and addresses you provide. |
| Orders and support | Products purchased, delivery instructions, returns, refund requests, correspondence and evidence you send. |
| Payments | Transaction references, payment method, amount, status and refund records received from the payment services offered at checkout. |
| Google sign-in | Your Google account identifier, verified email, name and profile image, where supplied, when you choose Google sign-in. |
| Vendor and affiliate records | Store details, tax or verification information where required, payment details, referrals, commissions and payout records. |
| Technical and usage information | IP address, browser/device information, security logs, cart activity and interactions with the marketplace. |
| Preferences | Communication choices and settings you select. |
We collect information directly from you, through your use of the service, and from relevant vendors, delivery partners, payment services and Google when you choose its sign-in service. Required fields are identified during registration or checkout. Without necessary account, payment or delivery details, we may be unable to provide the requested service. Optional preferences and marketing choices are not required to purchase.
Do not send card security codes, mobile-money PINs, passwords or one-time verification codes to our support team. Enter sensitive payment credentials only into the payment service presented at checkout.
3. Why we use information
We use relevant information to create and secure accounts, fulfil purchases, arrange delivery, resolve complaints, process returns and refunds, administer vendor/affiliate relationships, prevent fraud, maintain records and improve the service.
We rely on an appropriate lawful basis for each activity, including performing our agreement with you, meeting legal duties, protecting legitimate interests where permitted, or obtaining consent where required. We do not treat acceptance of marketplace terms as consent to every use of personal data. We will explain a materially different purpose before using information for it and obtain consent where necessary.
4. Google sign-in
Google sign-in is an optional way for customers to create or access an account. We use the Google identity information described above for authentication and account administration. We do not receive your Google password, and our basic sign-in flow does not request access to Gmail messages or Google Drive files.
You may manage access from your Google account. Removing Google's access does not itself delete your Dwoflex account or legally required order records. Contact us if you need another sign-in method or want to request account deletion. Google's handling of data is also described in Google's Privacy Policy.
5. Cookies, browser storage and communications
We use cookies and browser storage for sign-in, security, shopping-cart continuity and preferences. Blocking or clearing them can sign you out or reset your cart. Some storefront pages load fonts, icons or other resources from external providers; those providers may receive technical connection data such as your IP address.
If we introduce optional analytics or advertising technologies, we will explain their purpose and provide the choices and consent required by applicable law before enabling them.
We send necessary account, payment, security and order messages. Promotional communications require the appropriate consent. You can unsubscribe using the message's link or by contacting support; necessary service messages may continue. Vendors and affiliates must not use order information to send you unrelated promotions without a lawful basis.
6. When we share information
We share only information reasonably needed for the relevant purpose with:
- The vendor fulfilling your order and the delivery partner carrying it.
- Payment and refund providers offered at checkout, including Paystack where used.
- Providers supporting hosting, email delivery, security and customer service.
- Advisers, authorities or other recipients where required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, disputes or legal claims.
- A prospective successor in a business restructuring, subject to appropriate confidentiality and protection of your rights.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not give affiliates unrestricted access to your account or payment credentials merely because a purchase was referred by them.
7. Retention, security and overseas processing
We keep information for the purposes explained here and for applicable accounting, tax, fraud-prevention and dispute requirements. Retention depends on the category, the relationship with you and any continuing legal need. Account closure may therefore not erase all transaction records immediately. We delete, anonymise or securely restrict information when it is no longer needed.
We use reasonable access controls and security safeguards appropriate to the information and risks. No system can eliminate every risk. If a security incident requires notification, we will notify the relevant authorities and affected individuals as required.
Some providers may process information outside Ghana. We assess relevant arrangements and apply the safeguards required by applicable law. You may ask us about the providers, locations and protections relevant to your information.
8. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access to your information, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of information that should no longer be held. You may withdraw consent, object to qualifying processing, stop direct marketing, and request review of a significant decision based solely on automated processing.
Send requests to support@dwoflex.com. We may ask for proportionate identity verification and will explain any lawful limit on the request. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing already lawfully completed.
You may also raise a concern directly with Ghana's Data Protection Commission. Contacting us first is welcome but is not a condition for making a regulatory complaint.
9. Children
Marketplace accounts and purchases are intended for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly invite children to register or use Google sign-in to bypass this requirement. If you believe a child has supplied personal data, contact us so we can assess and address it appropriately.
10. Changes and contact
We will identify the effective date of a published revision and give appropriate notice of material changes. Where a new use requires consent, posting a revised policy alone will not provide that consent.
For privacy questions, contact support@dwoflex.com. For shopping rules, read our Terms and Conditions.
